Preferences on your device

Saved stories, reading history, followed topics and display preferences are stored in your browser. Clearing this site’s browser data removes those local preferences.

Corrections

When you submit a correction, GhanaBay stores the story link, your message and any supporting link for review. Do not include confidential source details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information. Correction submissions are restricted to the site owner; a published resolution may describe the issue without reproducing your private submission.

Optional features

Browser alerts require permission. You can revoke notification permission in your browser settings. Optional usage measurement, where enabled by you, records activity counts to help assess the reading experience.

Other websites

Publisher links take you to other websites, which have their own privacy practices. Linked and embedded services may process connection information when your browser requests their content. The hosting provider also processes requests needed to deliver the site.

Sign-in

Features requiring sign-in use the hosting platform’s account service. GhanaBay does not ask you to submit your account password through its story or correction forms.
